My name is Amaris Meléna Efthimiou. I was born and raised in NYC and still call it home (hence my love for Helvetica font).

My tech journey started in high school with Girls Who Code, and later I earned my BBA in Data Analytics from Baruch College.

​

My passion lies in bridging technology and human needs. With a multidisciplinary background in data science, design, and business strategy, I help organizations navigate AI transformation by translating complex challenges into practical, user-centered solutions. As a Client Value Engineer at IBM, I partner with clients to identify high-value opportunities, architect and validate AI-powered solutions, and deliver MVPs that drive innovation, accelerate adoption, and create measurable business outcomes. My work sits at the intersection of strategy, technology, and user experience, helping organizations unlock the full value of their investments in AI and digital transformation.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me hanging out with my two kittens (Zuko & Azula), playing ping pong with my fiancé & friends, cooking Greek and Puerto Rican dishes, or getting lost in a good mystery book... or binging a K-Drama!
